We will have a Shirley Temple artwork contest on this website. After 6 months (December 31, 2008) - if there are more than 5 entries, we will have a poll to rank the winning artwork. The 1st place person will receive a Shirley Temple book from the 1930s.

Please email me at: questions@shirleytempledolls.com if you need help uploading your artwork. It can either be a drawing, or it can be a computer image (made with Photoshop).

I have some beta stuff in my C: drive; I'm a fan of the video game Grand Theft Auto, and since one of its games was set in a city based on real-life Los Angeles, I made a rather simple Photoshop of ST holding a boat, and a rather ridiculous alternate history photo of her holding a Nokia cellphone. Sorry for those that I offended, but it's still not final...

I'm not yet that great in Photoshop, I'm still trying to find out that technique that mimics the cel-shaded effect found in GTA, like the one below:

I'm just fond of making fun of people in Photoshop - Shirley's such a nice retro benchmark for my "alternate history" photos. I could have emailed Nokia and Shirley about the photo, but that would be overkill...

This pic was a pretty easy one, some distortion work and layers...

I laughed a lot when I made this one; I didn't knew Shirl wanted Justin Timberlake and Rowan Atkinson as her homies...

Version 2 of the GTA art; I used Pricedown as the logo font; just search it at Google if you want that font...

I hope you guys like my works...
