Danbury Mint dressup doll Bright Eyes jacket problem

I recently bought a Bright eyes outfit for my doll and when I got the jacket out of the plastic wrapping the coating came off the jacket onto the plastic. Did anyone else have this happen? If you buy one of these be prepared for this problem, because I have two of them from different people and both of the jackets stuck to the plastic. This jacket would probably damage a doll, if you put it on it. I'm going to try to fix the jacket so I can still use it on a doll, but was really disappointed this happened and wanted others to be aware of this issue. I sent a email to Danbury Mint but since the dolls and outfits are no longer made they couldn't do anything about replacing the jackets with good ones.
